Problems we are addressing
Data Security
In Singapore, 1.5 million SingHealth patients data including its Prime Minister was stolen in 2018 and in January 2019, 14,000 of HIV patients data were exposed detailing their name, address, HIV status and their next-of-kin.
Storing medical data on blockchain could address this due to its distributed ledger technology where security is inherent in the system.
Data Privacy
Built on blockchain technology, the smart contract is designed for you to allow access to any of your private health information to a specific third party within a specific stipulated time.
You get to control with whom you wish to disclose your health data to.
